Dental Medicine
The Dental medicine specialty program in Medical University of Plovdiv lasts a duration of five and a half years, which comprises 10 semesters of both pre-clinical and clinical specialized training, along with a 9-month pre-graduate internship. This training adheres to contemporary standards and integrates a blend of general medical and specialized dental subjects.
Practical experience is gained through hands-on training with dental models in pre-clinical settings and interacting with patients in clinical settings, ensuring the effective development of dental students’ practical skills.
Those who successfully pass the state examinations are conferred with a Master’s degree in OKS and attain the professional qualification of Doctor of Dental Medicine. The educational format is traditional, with admission requirements involving entrance exams in biology and chemistry.
