Enrolment
To enroll in the English-language programs for Medicine, Dentistry, or Pharmacy at Plovdiv Medical University, you need to submit your application documents directly to the university. Compass Studies in Bulgaria is there to assist you throughout the entire admission process!
Additionally, applicants are required to take an admission test covering Biology and Chemistry. This exam is conducted online several times a year, and candidates can retake it if needed. The fee for the test is 200 EUR and is separate from the tuition fees.
If you want to retake, the fee must be paid again. Results are posted online approximately one week after the exam and follow the Bulgarian grading scale: 2 is a fail, 3 is the minimum passing grade, and 6 is the maximum grade, equivalent to 100%.
Failing in any subject disqualifies the student from participating in the university ranking for admission.
In September, Plovdiv Medical University releases a ranking of all students based on their high school and entrance exam scores. The top 300 international students for Medicine, 100 for Dentistry, and 50 for Pharmacy secure a place at the university.
